What time should I book?


Before 3PM is our standard cave tour. After 3PM, the lights are dimmed and our UV Experience starts. This is where you explore the caves with a special UV torch!


Why time slots?


We have a staggered cave entry system so you can explore freely and safely.


Do infants go free?


Infant (0-2) tickets cost £2 with a prize and trail quiz. Entry is free without the prize or quiz.

Hire our Cinema or Time Out Pod

Make your next celebration feel all the more special. Book our private cinema or Time Out Pod and you can have a little piece of Stump Cross magic all to yourself.


Our cinema seats 40 and is equipped with a 4K projector so you can watch your favourite films in stunning clarity. And our Time Out Pod is a cosy space where you can catch up with pals and enjoy magnificent views across the Yorkshire Dales.


You won't find better rainy-day activities in Yorkshire. To book, simply select a time slot to suit you.

Business meeting? Team building event? Product launch? As experienced group event organisers, we have everything you need to engage your attendees and hold an event to remember.


Why not kick things off in our Time Out Pod? This cosy chill-out space is perfect for team meetings and brainstorming sessions. We also have a 40-seat private cinema where you can deliver presentations in stunning 4K.


Then you can head to our Time Cafe for tea and snacks. And, of course, explore our spectacular prehistoric cave network.

FAQs

  • Do events take place indoors?

    Most do! If you're looking for indoor activities in Yorkshire, our fossil digs, Cavewoman parties and Underground Mammoth Cream Teas are always a safe bet. The same goes for cinema hire and private parties.


    A few, like our Dark Skies astronomy event, take place outdoors – weather permitting.

  • Why are there time slots for private events?

    We allocate time slots for private events like cinema hire, kids' parties and the Time Out Pod. This is just to make sure we can accommodate everyone. Don't worry – you'll still get the space to yourselves.

  • I can't make it – can I transfer my booking to another slot?

    Yes – please get in touch and we'll be happy to change your booking to another available slot. Unfortunately, we're unable to offer refunds.
