A memorable educational experience
The field trip begins with a fun, informative film about the caves in our theatre-style cinema. The film is tailored to each age group and introduces students to the history of the caverns as well as key geological information.
Pupils then explore the amazing natural formations of the caves – from stalagmites and stalactites to our very own “Fairy Door Hunt”. We provide materials for a fun fossil quiz to test students’ knowledge.
Our tours are compliant with Health and Safety regulations. Please get in touch if you have any queries. There’s free parking with ample room for coaches and minibuses.
All in all, it’s a great way to encourage learning outside the classroom and give your students a field trip to remember.

The trip is designed to tie in with Key Stages 1, 2 and 3 and enables students to contextualise their learning in a unique, exciting new environment.
We provide educational materials on subjects ranging from fossil formation to prehistoric animals, from climate zones to the Stone Age. These include a ready-made lesson plan for KS2 and an
education pack.
