This curious piece shows what remains of a number of unfortunate crinoids that were likely buried under mounds of sediment on a Carboniferous seafloor 350 million years ago. The crinoids that are fossilised here are the same creatures whose remains can be seen in our very own cave system, with these examples being well preserved, featuring the stems that make up most of the creatures length being present in fossil form and articulated as they would have been in life.
Due to the delicate nature of this fossil, it must either be collected or delivery must be arranged separately.
